En el presente artículo se hará una fundamentación teórica del concepto de habilidades sociales, enfatizando en la importancia de llevar a cabo acciones para fortalecerlas, sobre todo en la etapa de la adolescencia. Se tendrá en consideración, que a pesar de que las habilidades sociales no forman parte de manera directa del currículo escolar, es fundamental profundizar en su aprendizaje y desarrollo en el ámbito de la escuela. The literature reveals that borderline personality disorder (BPD) is an important public mental health problem that affects both the patients and their families. Moreover, studies indicate a high prevalence of psychological symptoms and burden in relatives of people with BPD.
